Art gallery to feature Baton Rouge natives Pramuk, Riche

FW Gallery, 8501 Highland Road, will open an exhibit featuring work by Andrea Pramuk and Erin Riche with a reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 24.

The show will run through Sept. 5.

Pramuk, a Baton Rouge native and Austin, Texas, resident, brings a selection of mixed-media paintings to the gallery.

Working in alcohol-based pigments in hues of cerulean and crimson, her colors spread across each composition with the force of waves and the delight of a blooming orchid.

Riche, also Baton Rouge native, now travels between New York and California designing children’s apparel. She draws from her professional experience to create fiber art filled with playfulness and wonder. Using a sewing machine as her brush, she gathers inspiration from winged creatures to hand embroider each delicate piece.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
